SUPGL technology
SUPGL connects purchase orders, shipments, orders, inventory, documents, cost information and reporting in a customer-specific platform developed from the ground up and supported by Superior Freight Services.
A platform connected to the operation
SUPGL was developed alongside Superior Freight Services’ logistics operations. It helps customers find supporting information, monitor exceptions, review activity and use reports configured around the way their program actually works.
It is not limited to a single standard workflow. Modules, fields, reports, terminology, permissions, imports and notifications can be configured for an individual transportation, warehousing or supply-chain program.
Connected visibility
Representative platform views
The examples below use representative or obscured data. Available modules, fields, calculations, integrations and permissions vary by customer program.
Customer dashboards can summarize purchase orders, shipments, orders, approaching dates, past-due activity and other records that need attention. Users can move from the summary directly into the working module.

SUPGL can receive and organize purchase-order lines, track changes, search multiple references at once, identify missing information and link PO activity to the related shipment workflow.
Open larger view
Open PO lines can be grouped by week, consolidation point and method. Planning views can summarize value, weight, volume, packaging coverage, file readiness and estimated container utilization before lines are assigned to a shipment.

Depending on the customer program, orders may be entered individually, received in batches, prepared through pick-sheet processes and followed through carrier shipment and delivery.
Open larger view
Customer-specific shipment views can bring operational milestones and routing references together with attached documents, shipment charges and linked PO or product information.

Authorized users can review item information, warehouse and bin locations, on-hand and in-transit quantities, thresholds, photographs and the transaction history that changed the balance.

SUPGL can compare transportation charges, duty, brokerage, landed cost, vendor performance, milestone performance and activity trends by reporting period and selected operating dimensions.

Platform capabilities
Capabilities are configured according to the services, data sources and requirements included in each customer program.
Labels, fields, field order, required information and report layouts can reflect the terminology and milestones used by the customer.
Module and data access can be limited by group, location, shipper, consignee, vendor, inventory scope or other configured criteria.
Authorized users can find supporting files and, where configured, create bills of lading, transfer receipts, commercial invoices and other documents.
Carrier service selection, package details, labels, tracking and approved partner or customer-system connections can be supported where deployed.
Reports can be exported to Excel and selected activity reports can be scheduled for automatic email delivery.
Customer logos, announcements, module availability and navigation can be configured around the program presented to authorized users.
Customer files, carrier information, supplier data and operating updates can be organized into approved customer views and reports.
SUPGL is supported alongside the Superior team responsible for the underlying transportation, warehousing or supply-chain activity.

Alerts and scheduled reporting
SUPGL can send selected recipients customer-specific shipment updates, order notifications, inventory threshold alerts and scheduled activity reports. Email content, recipients and schedules depend on the events and reporting included in the customer program.
Compliance screening
Superior’s internally developed screening system consolidates the government denied- and restricted-party data used by the program. Authorized users can run an individual search or upload a CSV batch, review possible matches by source and risk factor, and follow up against the official government publication.
Implementation approach
We review the customer’s operational process, data sources, users, reporting requirements and areas where visibility is most valuable.
Views, fields, reports, imports, documents and access are configured around the approved scope of the customer program.
Superior’s operational and technology teams support the platform and can refine configured capabilities as the program changes.
A practical differentiator
Customers use SUPGL alongside the operations team responsible for the underlying freight, warehousing or supply-chain program. That connection helps keep the technology grounded in the work it is intended to support.
